  • So it's been a year since I last used this...can't say that I missed it either. Just figured I'd type something though.

    I'm the Youth Pastor and Music Director at a new church as of Christmas this past year. 20 kids in the youth group. I got laid off as an electrician 7 weeks ago. Getting a lot of stuff done around the house.

    We got a dog, a chiauaua (sp?) mix...she's 8 months old.

    Other than that that's about it.

    Is anyone else out there in this Xanga World?

  • Man,

    It's been awhile...

    Not a lot has changed

    My sister graduated from college so she's home for good now.

    It's close to 90° here almost every day!!! I don't care too much for summer...

    I'm still an electrician, doing music for the youth group, and trying to rest and party at the same time.

    Anyone else doing anything exciting. No one's ever on this Xanga thing anymore!

  • I guess when things are important you post them here, so here's what's going on.

    Big thing - I'm finally getting ordained as a minister. On December 2nd of 2007 I will be an Ordained minister in the state of Alabama. I'm already liscensed, this just seals the deal.

    Other than that, my sister comes home in a little over a week, I've been working 55-60 hours a week, and enjoying the Alabama weather as much as possible. Sad to say but I might just wear shorts this week, it's that nice here! Toodaloo!!!

  • It's been brought to my attention...that xanga is dead. No one uses it no more. So I hate to say it but this is most likely gonna be my last post. No one even reads this thing anymore. I leave in less then a week to get my sister, and as of late I've been given the opportunity to be a full time pianist for a traveling southern gospel group. That's what's going on in my life. If you want or care to know more there's other ways of getting ahold of me.

    Goodbye Xanga world...

    I want you to know in the time I've had xanga I never succumbed to the pressure of going Premium! HA!

  • Not a whole lot going on... I'll give you a quick list of upcoming events

    Parents leave Friday for their FIRST missions trip to Guatemala!!!

    I'll work a ton this week again

    Around the middle of August I'll leave to go get my sis!

    I should be getting ordained here in the next couple of months (SCARY!!!)

    Ah, but that latest news that has sparked my fancy...

    I AM NOW A SPONSORED DISC GOLFER!!!

    A company called Gateway Discs has taken me on as an amatuer player, they're gonna send me all kinds of FREE stuff and pretty much I'll be a walking billboard! I'm PUMPED!

    That means a whole lot to no one, but it's got me fired up! Hope you all are doing well. Off to start another work week!
